Can I use B&L alongside my current lab?

Yes. Many practices use B&L as a supplemental lab to reduce costs, improve turnaround times, or expand test offerings. B&L can also work alongside your current provider during an existing contract.

What types of practices does B&L work with?

B&L partners with general practices, specialty hospitals, urgent care clinics, and new veterinary startups.

Diagnostic Services

What diagnostic services does B&L provide?

B&L offers diagnostic testing including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, cytology, histopathology, and specialized panels tailored to veterinary practices.

Can B&L help customize our diagnostic workflow?

Yes. B&L collaborates with your team to optimize test selection, turnaround times, pricing, and logistics to fit your practice.

PIMS Integration & Results

Does B&L integrate with PIMS systems?

Yes. B&L integrates with several PIMS platforms, including AVImark, Cornerstone, ImproMed, Pulse, ezyVet, Instinct, Digitail, VetBadger, Shepherd(coming soon) and more. If your current PIMS system is not listed, contact B&L to confirm compatibility and discuss integration options.

What if my practice does not use a PIMS system?

B&L offers paper requisition forms and access to a secure online customer portal for test ordering and result retrieval.

How are results delivered?

Results can be delivered through your PIMS, email, fax, or B&L's online portal, depending on what works best for your workflow.

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?

No, not right away. B&L offers flexible agreements and can work alongside your current provider during an existing contract.

Is B&L's pricing competitive and customizable?

Yes. B&L offers competitive and customizable pricing structures based on your practice's volume and needs. B&L also works with each client to create a pricing model that aligns with diagnostic usage and budget.

Courier & Logistics

Does B&L provide courier services?

Yes. B&L coordinates courier services throughout Southern California for specimen pickup and delivery. Contact B&L to confirm coverage in your region.

How do I schedule a courier pickup?

Call B&L Support at 949-850-8515 and select Option 4 to schedule a courier pickup. The courier arrives at the time confirmed when the pickup is scheduled.

Can I request a same-day courier pickup?

Yes. Same-day courier pickups are available if requests are submitted by 10:30 AM for a morning pickup or 3:30 PM for an afternoon pickup. To schedule a same-day pickup, call B&L Support at 949-850-8515 and select Option 4.

Are weekend or holiday courier pickups available?

Yes. If weekend or holiday pickups were not set up during onboarding, contact B&L Support at 949-850-8515, Option 4, in advance to have these pickups scheduled.

Do I need to be present for courier pickup?

Not always. If a designated pickup location is available and accessible, the courier can collect packages without direct contact.

What should be ready before courier pickup?

Before the courier arrives, ensure all samples are properly sealed and labeled, place samples in the designated pickup area, and prepare all required documentation. Multiple samples may be included in one pickup if each sample is properly labeled and ready.

Who should I contact for courier pickup issues?

For courier pickup issues, missed pickups, cancellations, or schedule changes, call B&L Support at 949-850-8515 and select Option 4. If you need to cancel or modify a pickup, call as soon as possible.

Supplies

Does B&L provide collection and shipping supplies?

Yes. B&L supplies necessary collection materials, including tubes, containers, and shipping supplies.

How do I order supplies?

You can order supplies by completing a Supply Order Form and giving it to the courier during a scheduled pickup, calling B&L Support at 949-850-8515 and selecting Option 4, or emailing the completed Supply Order Form to logistics@bandllabs.com.

How should I manage regular supply reorders?

Monitor inventory levels regularly and submit supply orders before reaching low stock to avoid supply disruptions.

How long do supply orders take?

Standard supply orders are typically processed and shipped within 1 to 2 business days. For urgent requests, availability of expedited processing may vary.

Can I place an urgent supply order?

Yes. Clearly mark the order as High Priority when submitting it and contact B&L Support at 949-850-8515, Option 4. Expedited processing is not guaranteed, but B&L will make every effort to prioritize urgent requests.

Can I track or get help with a supply order?

Yes. Contact B&L Support with your order details to check order status. For missing, damaged, or incorrect supplies, call 949-850-8515, Option 4, and include your order number for faster resolution.

Are there limits or restrictions on supply orders?

Yes. You may request multiple supply items in one order, but all orders are subject to standard allocation guidelines, item availability, and applicable usage or regulatory limits. Certain supplies may be restricted due to usage guidelines or regulatory requirements, and only approved items should be ordered.
